New day...endless possibilities
We are over the moon with the positive impact St Botolph’s have made, not only for our daughter but us as a family. Seeing her happy to attend school and happy coming out of school is the best feeling! Leaps and bounds has happened this year for our daughter, we are so grateful to see her thriving as she is finally understood and listened to. We are so proud! Thank you to all!
I think OFSTED should consider this school for outstanding status! My child loves going to school and is progressing exceptionally well. The teachers are 100% dedicated and the kids love them, which helps immensely.
We could not have chosen a better school! We are so pleased with how much you do with the children; the discos, trips, panto etc! Some of our friends whose children go to school elsewhere do not do half of what you do at St Botolph’s! Our son loves the Sunday timetable that we get sent so he can see what his week will look like.
Curriculum
We have written our own curriculum that follows a framework that covers the National Curriculum in line with the children's developmental levels. We break down themes and topics, connecting all areas of learning to ensure a broad and balanced curriculum for our pupils. We build on childrens's prior learning and tailor tasks towards our pupils' interests. Our teaching and learning is rooted in practical, play-based and sensory experiences.
Tasks are broken down into short manageable sessions and learning is achieved through quality first teaching. Learning occurs within our classroom and outdoor spaces, making the most of our local environment.
